What does the next president need to know about science, and how should voters weigh science? What if science issues were the only ones? The St Louis Section–ACS sponsors the first in a series of science café events: a short introduction to set the agenda, followed by wide open questions and discussion. Tonight’s presenter is Professor Hal Harris, a physical chemist at the University of Missouri–St Louis.
Update: see the report from this Science Café session.
25 Chemistry Expo, Center Stage at the St Louis Science Center, 10 am–4 pm.
Come join the fun as volunteers from Saint Louis University, Southern Illinois University, St Louis Community College, University of Missouri–St Louis, Monsanto, and Covidien present hands-on demonstrations and activities that explore the way chemistry affects our lives and the world around us.
