SUMMARY:Washington University chemistry tournament
DESCRIPTION:This is the “Second Annual” chemistry tournament\, organized and hosted entirely by WUSTL undergraduates. The competition invites high school students across the nation to participate in a series of individual and team-based chemistry exams\, engage with college students and faculty\, and earn recognition at an awards ceremony. WUCT emphasizes real world applications of science and promotes fundamental problem-solving and teamwork skills. \nThe first tournament was held in April 2016 and had 180 high school students across the nation travel to our campus.
