The aim is to introduce students to careers involving chemistry and biochemistry and have them witness processes in those areas. Activities include tours of research laboratories and instrument facilities (with demonstrations of x-ray diffraction\, NMR\, mass spectrometry\, and electron microscopy)\, Chemistry Demonstrations by UMSL’s Chemistry Club\, and a pizza lunch. \nContact Jim O’Brien by February 20 if you would like to bring a contingent but the May 8th date is impossible.
