SUMMARY:Cocktails with Chemists
DESCRIPTION:The first networking event of the new year follows the final networking event of the past year because … of course it does. This one is at Layla\, 4317 Manchester Ave · St. Louis\, MO. \nThis is an informal event and meant to serve as a networking opportunity for all local chemists and scientists. ACS Membership not required\, but we’d love to tell you more about it! Bring friends and colleagues who want to meet other chemists/scientists! Please let us know if you’re planning to attend (no obligation). \nWe’ve been dedicated to providing a variety of days\, times\, and venues for these meet-ups to try to accommodate diverse schedules for our monthly networking events. Does this time/date/location not work for you? Let us know where you’d like to Meetup next. We’re trying to make each month conveniently located for a different group. \n• What we’ll do: Meet other local chemists and learn about the St. Louis Local Section of the American Chemical Society. Not sure what you’re paying membership dues for every year? Let’s talk about what we can do for you. \n• What to bring: business cards if you’ve got ’em (not required) \n• Good to know: Our theme for 2019 is “Chemistry (and St. Louis) is International” and we look forward to embracing the diversity of our roots – both in St. Louis and in science. \nContact: nalafran@wustl.edu with questions.
