Saint Louis Section–ACS makes a single advertising placement available on its home page, primarily to defray the cost of hosting the website. The following policies govern acceptance of ads:
  • Advertiser will have exclusive placement on the home page. The ad will appear between Section Services and Chemical Bond Newsletter in the left-hand navigation area.
  • Content must be designed to fit attractively in an area no more than 240 pixels wide by 240 pixels tall. Content may include logo or photo, text, and a single link to an external site. No animations or blinking text, please!
  • Advertiser may provide a background image or specify a background color, which must be substantially different from the web page default background. If no background is specified, it will be white. A 2-pixel outline will be placed around the ad. The example shown is representative of your ad.
  • Ads must be pertinent to the intended audience of our website. We reserve the right to reject any ad.
  • Preferred copy submission is html, with graphic elements at a resolution appropriate for screen display. If you have no experience with html, ask us.
  • Advertising rate is $15/month, –10% for 3 months, –25% for 12 months, prepaid
  • Multi-month advertisers are entitled to one change of content per calendar month. Additional changes are $5 each.
  • One month before the current prepaid placement expires, we will accept reservations for the next placement. The current ad placement expires on March 31, 2010.
  • Submit reservations to the Webmaster, and let us know if you need an invoice mailed, purchase order quoted, etc.
  • After acceptance or invoicing (if requested), please pay by check to:
