  • YCC hike

    Take a hike with the YCC Meet at 10am at Brentwood Pointe Dierberg’s, 8450 Eager Rd, St Louis, MO 63144, and carpool to Shaw Nature Reserve, returning to Dierbert’s about 4pm. Event includes lunch, with vegetarian options. RSVP by July 7 to Sarah Torkamani, torkamanis@seas.wustl.edu

  • ACS at the IL State Fair

    A group of ACS sections sponsors a booth. The St Louis Section has sent volunteers to work in the booth since 2004. Check out the website for ACS at the Illinois State Fair, and for volunteer sign-up. Minimum commitment is one four-hour shift, but any help would be appreciated.

  • Boy Scout Chemistry Merit Badge Clinic

    This event always draws a capacity crowd of Boy Scouts, and coordinator Lisa Balbes needs a capacity crowd of volunteers, particularly to run chemistry demos during the one-on-one reviews of merit badge requirements (12:30–2:00 pm). Contact Lisa at 314.966.5298 or lisa@balbes.com
