The St. Louis Section of the American Chemical Society is pleased to invite members and friends to Recognition Night 2026, an annual celebration honoring service, leadership, and outstanding contributions to chemistry and the local scientific community.
The event will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Glen Echo Country Club in Glendale, Missouri. The evening will begin with networking at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and the awards program at 6:30 PM.
Recognition Night will honor past chairs of the St. Louis Section, members commemorating milestone years of service, and recipients of section awards recognizing excellence and impact. The program will feature formal remarks and award presentation to 2026 Chemical Technology Award Winner, followed by closing reflections from section leadership.
Dinner will include a Glen Echo buffet with Mahi Mahi or Seared Sirloin, accompanied by chef-selected sides, assorted desserts, and coffee, tea, and water. A vegetarian option will be available upon request. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening. Milestone year service honorees and award winners will be hosted to a complimentary dinner. Additional dinners are available for $40 to allow family and friends to share at the event.
