Awards Night 2017

Awards Night was held on April 18, 2017 at Maggiano’s in Brentwood with around 100 people in attendance. Winners of the high school chemistry contest, the high school chemistry teacher-of-the-year, and the outstanding junior chemistry students at area colleges and universities are all recognized. By all accounts, the evening was a nice celebration.

Illinois Region 12 Science Fair Winners Announced

Sayers is 2017’s High School Chemistry Teacher-of-the-Year

Kathleen Dwyer, coordinator of the High School Chemistry Teacher-of-the-Year Award, has announced this year’s winner: Carol Sayers of Saint Paul, MO. Carol teaches AP Chemistry and Pre-AP Chemistry at Fort Zumwalt North High School in O’Fallon, MO. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1988.
