Dr Qingfeng Ge of SIU Carbondale will be receive the 74th Midwest Award, keynote a symposium in his honor, and serve as guest of honor at the award banquet during the Midwest Regional Meeting in Ames, Iowa, on October 22, 2018. Registration of teams to participate in the Washington University Chemistry Tournament opens today. For details on the event, past events, registration information, and venue information, see wuct.wustl.edu/. The 2019 event is on April 6th.

Applications are now being accepted to participate in the 2018 Undergraduate Research Symposium.Good reasons to participate:Being an ACS member is not required.There is no charge to participate.This is an opportunity to meet folks from other universities and get presentation experience in a low stress environment.You can complete your registration on-line.Swallow hard, then just do it!
